We uploaded our documentary onto YouTube so we could share and receive feedback on our video, what we did well and what we could improve.

Group Ancillary Task

For the ancillary task, we had to create a poster of our documentary. We wanted to make the poster very simple but effective and engaging for audiences to notice the advertisement. We used a very effective method of writing the titles diagonal along the books pages to better the poster's intricate design.

We used the Channel 4 logo in the top right to instantly make audiences recognise the channel. We also found using the text in the apple was very appropriate and looked very stylish.

Word Cloud

I used wordle.net to create a word cloud of my blog. The word cloud expresses the most common used words and helped me gather ideas on my ancillary task. I had to decide a topic to write about and this helped me see the areas most commonly targeted in my blog.

Editing Process

Using the programme iMovie, this is a screenshot of the editing process. After we had filmed at Reed's and finished at Heathisde, we could then move onto editing the footage and select the clips we wanted in the final documentary. So far the process is going very well, we have all the footage we want on the programme and we have a final few things to include. After analysing the footage on iMovie we may even need to film a short clip which would help the final parts of our documentary to flow very nicely.

Still to do: Film any last bits of footage, re-evaluate the finished footage and aim to finish editing ASAP.
